Who is this class for?
Our all Abilities Dance Classes are designed for our kids that need a little extra support and understanding, including people on the autism spectrum, with physical disabilities, complex medical needs, intellectual impairments, vision impairments, and Deaf or hard of hearing.
About the class:
These classes not only improve physical health, increase range of movement, stamina and endurance but also help our kids gain problem-solving skills, teamwork and collaboration in a safe space. Dance classes are highly social activities. They assist children to develop great communication skills, work in a team environment towards a common goal, develop cooperation and of course make new forever friends.
What will I get out of this class?
We cater every lesson to suits the needs of every individual with fun-filled activities designed to develop dancer’s physical skills (including gross motor and fine motor coordination, strength, balance and stamina), communication skills, memory skills, rhythm and musicality, self-expression and independence. Students will have the opportunity to perform at our Mid & End of Year Concerts.
